At larger colleges that run like mini cities, instead of involving the police, campo and a school board handle most crime and report their findings to law enforcement. But many colleges do not report findings and file false crime statistics. They attempt to cover up these incidents. At these colleges victims are degraded and blamed and often shunned and the offender is given a slap on the wrist.
