The splitting of Europe

The splitting of Europe caused the Western side to become backed by the US as the eastern side was known to become part of the USSR. The western side contains a free trade, and free market economy. As the eastern side has a communism, and does not contain free trade.

Both sides are divided by "The Iron Curtain."
