I have learned in this lab that if you drop a tenis ball from a meter off the ground on a hard floor that it will bounce about 31 centimeters off the ground. I also learned that if you drop a golf ball on the same hard surface it will bounce about the same height 30 centimeters. We also learned if you drop it from a meter onto a box it won't bounce as heigh as if it was on a hard surface.
