The tropical rainforest is a very important factor in the ecosystem. This biome provides the air with critical nutrients and oxygen which are released from the tall trees in the top, or emergent layer of the rainforest. The average temperatures of 75-80 degrees fahrenheit, help provide great and moist soil. Other biomes like the Tundra get as cold at -50 degrees, and have frozen soil with no nutrients. The rainforest covers 78% of the world, which is why there is a great supply of oxygen in the world.
