Balanced and Unbalanced Forces

-Net Force: The combination of forces acting on an object.
-Zero Net Force: Balanced forces, and constant speed. No change in motion.
-Net Force is NOT zero: Unbalanced forces, causes a change in speed, direction, and motion.
-The force must be bigger than its resistance to change its motion.
-The object will accelerate from unbalanced forces.

Example: There is 4 Newtons being pushed on the left of a box, and 7 Newtons being pushed on the right of the box, having a Net force of 3 Newtons to the right.
-A balanced force of two kids both kicking a ball at the same time with 9 Newtons in each side.
