Family Bakery

In 1859 in Philadelphia Hanckles bakery was built.
It remained till the 1940s but soon after they changed the name to Holmesburg bakery, so that it sounded less German.
My great grandfather took over the bakery in the 1950s, and now my great uncle George runs the same bakery today.
It is the oldest bakery in the city of Philadelphia.
