Animal Life

You can expect to see large carnivores, raccoons and wolves, deer, pigs, camels, cats, dogs and horses, flying squirrels, bats, and whales during the tertiary period. Grazing herds are abundant. Trout and bass are beginning to make their debut and sharks are becoming more common. You can also see the first primates. I guess you can say the age of mammals begins!
