Places of work and study:

Anton Van Leeuwenhoek did not go to college. He only took a class for grammar at Warmond. Other than this he was a Dutch tradesman and moved quite often. After a while he ran his own draper shop and this was where he became interested in science. He made lenses and helped him to see and this was where he took off. Since this he has fixed flaws in our microscopes and even lenses we wear today.
