the food pyramid and my plate are different because of:
- less emphasis on grains, more on vegetables.
- my plate doesn't talk about fats & oils.
we think the food pyramid is better for our nutrient because there is no mention of fats/oils in my plate. fats are an essential part of daily life and should not be taken out of meals.
We wouldn't have made the change because we see fats are needed for many purposes to keep us healthy, as long as we don't have too much. fats should of had a part in my plate.
