Buddhism: Teachings and Rituals

Four Noble Truths:

1) All living beings must endure dukkha
2) Dukkha leads to reincarnation
3) Goal of existence is to escape cycle of rebirth by Nirvana
4) Nirvana is achieved by Eightfold Path

Noble Eightfold Path:

Rightness of understanding, mindfulness, speech,action, livelihood,effort, thought, and concentration.

The Ultimate Goal:

To reach Nirvana

Rituals:

Meditation is the way to Enlightenment
