Decomposition vs. Nitrogen Cycle

Decomposition:
The state of being reduced into original elements.

Nitrogen Cycle:
Nitrogen from the soil are absorbed by plants, which are eaten by animals who die and decay returning the Nitrogen back to the soil.

Both:
Decomposition is a big part of the Nitrogen Cycle. It puts the Nitrogen back into the soil after it decomposes a dead animal or plant.
