Solving Inequalities

When solving inequalities there are two times where you switch the inequality sign. First, when you divide by a negative, and second when you are trying to get x on the left side of the inequality.

24<-2x+6
-6 -6
18<-2x
Dived by -2
-9 (Switch because we duded by a negative and also because x is on the right, not left)
X> -9
