Surtsey
Surtsey is a small volcanic island off the south coast of Iceland with an elevation (summit) of just 174m, or roughly 571ft.
It was formed because of an underwater volcanic eruption which reached the surface on June 14, 1963. The eruption lasted until 5 June 1967, which is when the island reached it's maximum size of 2.7km^2.
