The big picture
The jobs that people in the state government have are described in the New York State constitution. The state constitution outlines how our state government works. The state government is made up of three different parts- Executive branch, Legislative branch and the Judicial branch. There is three branches of government so there are three branches of government so that no one, branch has to much power.
