All about Van Gogh

-Van gogh spent time at The Hague school, one of the main centers of post-impressionism during his Dutch period (Spring 1881 - November 1885).
-In May 1889, after several symptoms of mental disturbance, Van Gogh asked to be admitted to the asylum at Saint-Remy-de-Provence in order to be under medical supervision.
-painting was, he believed, his only way of keeping sane.
