Birth of a Red Blood Cell
Where - RBC Birth takes place in the bone marrow.
How - If a stem cell called a hemocytoblast commits to becoming a cell called a proerythroblast, it will develop into a new red blood cell.
Time it takes - It takes approximately 7 days for the cell to mature and enter the blood stream.
