Flappers of the 70's

Hippie, derived form the word hipster, was a cultural movement that took place during the late 1960's and the early 1970's. Hippies left the average middle-claws lives to live with other people with the same or similar beliefs. They also felt the need to rebel against people of authority and just like flappers of the 20's, hippies often expressed themselves by wearing distinct and very colorful clothing. Hippies did not agree with mainstream society and expressed it through their writing, music, and clothing.
