The Fowlers Toad
- The Fowlers toad usually lives in woodlands and near river beds.
They eat like usual frogs, feeding on insects and flies.This toad is nocturnal, it will dig a hole in the sand near the river and hid out during the day.
- These toads breeding season in much later than normal toads. They breed in mid April.The male toads call is a deep "wa" sound and can be mistaken for a herd of sheep.When a female has her eggs she will usually have about 8 thousand.
