It is at Oxford where Hooke became fascinated with science.

Hooke did many things for science. Most of his work was with microscopes. He published a book in 1665 called Micrographia. The book was about microscopes and telescopes.

Hooke is known for many things and he was more than a man of science.

Hooke was also a surveyor for London and he also help Christopher Wren redesign and rebuild London after the great fire of 1666.
