Mythical Beast/Ordinary Object Poem

Yesterday I saw it move,

It was like a yellow flaming ball of fire.

It's first step sounded like a BOOM!

It was so scary I felt like I was frozen.

My pencil had rolled off my desk.

It was growing at a rapid pace,

It had green eyes.

It's yellow face was full of revenge.

It said so many words,

But I could only make out a few,

It was angry that I hadn't sharpened it.

It didn't like that it was the only dull pencil.

Then it stopped.

And it was still, on my desk.
