Dresses can come in many styles such as sheath, shift, A- Line, Empire, Dropped Waist and Shirt Waist

A- Line Dress: A cut of garment consisting of A-shaped panels with the widest portion at the hemline.

Shift Dress: The shift dress is short and straight with a simple line. It hangs loose on the body from the shoulders and is held together by side panels.

Sheath dress:
Have no waistline seam, they hang from the shoulders and have inward shaping at the waist.
