The treaty of Versailles

Written on June 28th 1919.
One of the peace treaties at the end of WW1.
Ended state of war between Germany and Allied Powers.
The following land was taken away from Germany :
Alsace-Lorraine (given to France)
Eupen and Malmedy (given to Belgium)
Northern Schleswig (given to Denmark)
Hultschin (given to Czechoslovakia)
West Prussia, Posen and Upper Silesia (given to Poland)
Germany had to reduce their army size.
League of Nations was set up to keep world peace.
Germany had to admit responsibility for starting the war.
Since Germany started the war, they had to fix all the damage they caused, by paying off debts.
Germany's economy suffered greatly, Germany would soon be bankrupt.
If Germany did not agree to the terms, it was stated that the Allies were going to invade Germany.
