Overview of This Region

Globalization has increased and changed this region immensely throughout the years. The abundant amount of oil supplies the economy, and the Middle East is developing very quickly while managing their water use too. The climate consists of very hot and dry weather in the east, and mountains and lowlands with Mediterranean climate. Also this region is full of mountains and deserts such as the Libyan desert and the Atlas Mountains. The Middle East and North Africa is the center of global rise of Islamic movement and they have a lot of conflict involving western values. They are politically instable and there are a lot of religious and ethnic differences. Another problem is their quickly growing population. Overall this region is quickly developing however they still have plenty of problems.
