Bohr's dilemma with Rutherford
Rutherford found that the nucleus of the atom is very dence. He suggested that the electrons were a could of nearly weightless electrons. Bohr using the power of physics and saw that this was flawed. The electrons orbiting would lose their energy until they spiral down into the nucleus and collapse the atom. Which is very bad.
