Throughout the second half of the Twentieth Century, Soviet Russians were concerned with the possibility that the USA would rain nuclear destruction upon their land. With these fears echoing parallel to American fears, proof is given that everyone was scared during the Cold War. The sheer danger of WMDs, including atomic weapons, reminds us of the caution needed in finding a solution. While total disarmament would be the best solution, it will not happen at once. This imbalance would cause a power vacuum which is undoubtedly dangerous to the balance of global politics.Nuclear proliferation is a huge problem, but it is part of the larger problem of war. Completely changing the status of nuclear proliferation will require much more of a solution. It requires changing the entire security infrastructure of the world.
