Human Impact:

As for most small rodents cars can be an issue.

Pesticides are also an issue. Slugs are a problem in some areas where hedgehogs are from, and they get poisoned. Since hedgehogs favor slugs they tend to eat them a lot, resulting in the hedgehog also getting poisoned.

Pollution is often a big risk for the hedgehogs, as for many other species in the environment.

Humans are forcing hedgehogs out of their habitats. As human populations grow, settlements expand, agricultural activities are made, and new roads are being constructed, the hedgehogs are quickly losing their living space.
