Treatments

Trisomy 18 is a very sad disorder in which there is no cure. There are some treatments for the symptoms but other than that there is nothing that can be done to cure it.
My mom works with Missouri's Early Intervention program called First Steps. She has a baby with Trisomy 18 named Eden. Eden's family is very proactive in promoting awareness of T-18. They were told to just take her home and make her comfortable because she was not going to have a very long life expectancy. She is 18 months old now and has been a true blessing for the family.
