Peter Lalors early life!
Peter Lalor was born in Laois a place in Ireland and went to the school Carlton College and became an engineer. Peter Lalor immigrated to Australia in 1852. Firstly he worked on the
Melbourne Geelong railway line and then he went to digging in the Owens district and after to Ballarat. In 1852 a license of 30 shillings per month had to be payed by the diggers that were digging for gold and Peter Lalor had become one of them.
