If you don't know a child has autism in the street, the main misconception is that the child is badly behaved. This just simply isn't the case. The only reason children behave like that is because it is their way of taking in the world and this can be overwhelming or if the child cannot tell you what they want, they will often resort to this through frustration. Believe or not I used to be like this myself but I'm not so much anymore.
