The 3rd misconception about autism.
The 3rd misconception of autism is that autistic children cannot possibly be imaginative. People think this because autistic children (Asperger's mostly) have spectacular minds for knowing facts, but including myself, I know that autistic children can also be spectacularly imaginative. Autistic children could still play with figures and play with them as if they were real. I would know, I used to be obsessed with this kind of play.
