Your loved one is in the intensive care unit because their body isn't working normally. Because of this your loved one will have specialists caring for them and assisting them in their recovery

It's not unusual for family members to feel helpless, however it will take time for your loved one to recover and don't be surprised if he or she appears to get worst before you begin to see improvement.
