Make sure you have a clean space to work with. Cooking can get very messy!

Make sure you have all the ingredients! You don't want to make that mistake!

If you are making a cake of some sort, don't forget to butter the pan! You probably do not want to have your cake stuck to the pan!

Take out all the ingredients before you start. Trust me, it is so much easier then finding all the ingredients while you are in the middle of making the food.
