Vikings

The Vikings came from Denmark, Norway and Sweden. They lived from 793 to 1096. One accomplishment of the Vikings is that they discovered North America before Columbus did. The Men and Women in Viking tribes all played a huge roll in each other's life. They lived in long houses with their tribe. The woman worked on the farm and cooked the meals for the family. The men hunted and fixed and built the boats. Their main food was seals.
