Last Days

Dickens suffered a stroke on June 8,1870 and never regained consciousness. He died the next day at his home, Gad's Hill Place. Dickens did not want a fancy burial, but was given one anyway. He was laid to rest in the Poets' Corner Of Westminster Abbey.
