*1838/1839 - "Nicholas Nickelby" - A young man supports his mother and sister after the death of his father

Later Years

*1842 - Toured America - He gave lectures that were extremely well-attended

*1843 - "A Christmas Carol" - The story of Ebenezer Scrooge.

*1850 - "David Copperfield" - Tells the life story of David Copperfield and is mostly autobiographical

*1859 - " A Tale of Two Cities" - Set in
London and Paris before and during the French Revolution
