- during 2000 B.C. and 1500 B.C. nomadic people traveled from Central Asia into India
- these nomads married locals and named themselves the Aryans
- soon the Aryans had combined the culture from their nomadic life to the ones of the early Indian people
- all we know from the Aryans come from the Vedas which are a collection of religious teachings
- we know from the Vedas that Aryans were good fighters and big party people
- like the Indus civilization, the Aryans valued cattle
