Lords

Knights

Vassals

A vassal is a lord who was granted land in exchange for service and loyalty to a greater lord. He agreed to provide 40 days of military service, money payments, and offer advice.

A knight is a European noble who served as a mounted warrior. The knights began training with their father's lord at age 7. They swore to a code of chivalry, which required knights to be honest, loyal, and brave. They promised to fight fairly.

Vassals were mainly lords. However, if a higher up knight culminates enough prestige and wealth, he may become a vassal.

A vassal may split up his land and distribute it to lesser lords.
