Authors Tone
I think it's sad, exciting and inspiring, sad because of his situation in this book because of what he is. I think it's exciting because it always has you wanting to read more and more about what is going to happen to him. And inspiring because it shows how this boy kept fighting for himself and how he never gives up. He makes it sad by using the words like he's A Jew and that we can't fix his arm because he's a Jew which makes the book sad.
Authors perspective.
I think uri orlev wrote this book because he wanted to show readers a lesson on this boys hardship. And to teach us that by show Jureks experiences that taught the readers that it doesn't matter about our differences or where we came from.
