Readers mood

I felt like this book was sad and exciting because it made me wonder what was going to happen next like if he was going to be caught and sent to a concentration camp or if he will die. It's sad because of what happened to him about his arm when the doctor said he couldn't save his arm because he's a Jew. I thought that was sad because he's a doctor and he's suppose to help people but he didn't help Jurek because he was Jewish.
