To Prepare A Slide From Plant Tissue And Draw It As Seen Under A Microscope
🔴Set Up:
Prepare cover slip as seen in diagram above and place slide on microscope
🔴Statement Of Task:
To prepare a microscope for viewing a plant cell
🔴Method:
1. Put a tiny bit of water from the dropper onto the microscope slide. Then put the onion tissue (which is the cell) into the drop of water, and use another dropper to put a drop of iodine on top of the water and opinion tissue.
2. Gently lower the cover slip on top of the onion tissue, trying not to form lots of air bubbles otherwise it will be hard to view the cell.
3. Place the microscope slide carefully onto the stage of the microscope using the clip to secure it.
🔴Safety Issues:
The cover slip is very delicate so be careful.
🔴Result:
We were able to see the onion tissue clearly.
🔴Conclusion
The plant cell is like a wall
