Historical places in Chile:

UNESCO listed the churches of Chiloe as a World Heritage Site, and these houses of worship are located throughout the Chiloe archipelago. The Jesuit order commissioned the construction of these wooden churches during the 17th and 18th centuries, and of the approximately 100 churches built, 60 remain standing and are in use today.
