Knights
Many nobles began training to be knight, or mounted warriors,in boyhood, starting at the age of seven. When the training was finished, a youth was dubbed as a knight. Knights usually fought on horseback using swords, axes, and lances. The knights who defended the castles lived there, too.

Knights/Chivalry

Chivalry
In the later Middle Ages, knights adopted a code of conduct called chivalry. Chivalry required knights to be brave, loyal, true to their word, and fight fairly. Chivalry also required knights to protect the weak, including peasants and noblewomen.the knights made up less than 5% of the population.
