The Tri-State tornado struck on March 5,1925. It was a F5 tornado that holds the record for the longest track by a single tornado in the world. It spanned over 220 miles. The tornado went through Missouri, Illinois, and stopped in Indiana. It caused 695 deaths, and injured 2027 people. It caused $16.5 million in damage and inflation is over $1.4 billion. This tornado is the most destructive tornado in history.
