Nazi doctors put victims in pools of icy water up to five hours. So they could find a cure for German pilots that crashed had crashed into the ocean. The prisoners were naked or dressed in pilot suits and placed in the water. The other prisoners were taken outside into the winter weather and strapped down naked.
