Macbeth is trying to decide if he should kill the king or not. Macbeth gives himself 5 reasons not to do it. He doesn't want to be do it because he will be condemned to hell for the sin of murder, Duncan honored him, he is his Kinsman and his subject, and people will judge him if they find out it was him.
