After the heart

After the heart the RBC gives the body oxygen. If it leaves the aorta it's job is to give oxygen to the upper half of the body. If it leaves the inferior vena cava them it's job is to give oxygen to the bottom half of the body. The RBC goes through arteries, veins and capillaries.
