Can it affect humans?
An invasive spices can not only drastically effect the food web of and ecosystem, but can affect organisms outside of the biome as well, including humans. In an ocean biome, if the invader lessened the population of something humans ate or used, they would have to adapt. For example, if flamingoes are more shrimp, seafood restaurants and food stores would have less of it causing the price of shrimp to soar. Also, people would have to start eating more of other fish and such. In a land biome, if the invader ate more of something that humans used or ate, they would also have to modify their habits. As a demonstration, if wolves killed more cows, humans would have less milk and less meat. This would force people to use less of that and to use more from other animals. This shows some of the many effects an invasive species can have on organisms including humans.
