Lawrence Sullivan

He was in the US army as a leader of a band of Indian auxiliaries from the Brazos Indian Reservation. He later became a senator.

Captain of the Waco company. Became president of Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas. He was a leader of a band of Indian auxiliaries from the Brazos Indian Reservation.

He was elected as sheriff which ended the reign of terror in 1873. He also helped formed the Sheriff's Association of Texas.
