The colors and fonts used in a presentation can influence the way an audience perceives the speaker/writer, just like the bright pink and fancy font make the audience think that I'm girly and shallow.

Grey tones with easily read fonts can make text seem more bland, or give the writing a more sophisticated, sanguine, or objective tone that begs more focus and response rather than playful inattention.

Cooler but brighter colors will make bold statements but be easy on the eye, and bold font can give a piece more urgency or importance. Also, the use of informal punctuation can bring emphasis to certain phrases! Bigger size also can mean bigger importance.

Warm colors and easily read but expressive fonts can relate an audience to a calm and happy memory or instill emotional responses in a text. This should not be used as a call to action, because it begs for an emotional btu rational response to a text.
