PRISM collects stored internet communications based on demands made to internet companies like Apple, Google, and Yahoo.

PRISM was established in 2007 and it was recently leaked by Edward Snowden on June 6, 2013.

Documents show that PRISM is the #1 source of raw intelligence in the NSA .
